My definition of acne skin care is basically having healthy looking skin with no acne blemishes on it. It’s a pretty good feeling to not only get rid of acne but also not have it for a long time. It’s embarrassing to have acne when we go out to public, hang out with some friends, going on a date with someone, or interviewing for a job.
That’s why acne skin care is important. I’m pretty sure you’ve had some days where you woke up and had no choice but to squeeze a pimple. I know how that feels because I’ve been through many of those days. This article will show you some ways on how you can maintain healthy looking skin.
The first thing you should do buy a facial cleanser that works. The most effective medication there is today is probably Benzoyl Peroxide. I’ve tried Salicylic Acid but Benzoyl Peroxide worked better for me. Benzoyl Peroxide is the common treatment for mild to moderate acne and kills it by introducing oxygen into the pore, where the bacteria cannot live. If you’ve used this so much, your face may become immune to the effects like mine did and you may still get acne.
If this is the case, you may want to try using a mild soap with Glycerin in it. Neutrogena supplies this and the bars aren’t that expensive. You can get them for less than five dollars. I use this now because I have an oily face and it does a good job cleansing my pores, and drying my skin not too much, but enough where it leaves my skin clean and fresh.
When you find the facial cleanser that works, you’ll want to keep yourself hydrated. I believe that good acne skin care doesn’t juts involve a cleanser, but you’ll need to cleanse inside your body to make sure all your cells are working properly, that’s why drinking lots of water is helpful. Since water can get pretty plain, you can try squeezing lemon in it and putting it in the refrigerator for ten minutes. Afterwards, you’ll have yourself a nice, cold glass of water with a tinge of Vitamin C inside.
Finally I recommend changing your pillow case every one in a while. If you’re a side sleeper, like me, you may not realize that your face is being exposed to overnight oils and bacteria waiting to clog up your skin pores. By changing your pillow case to a fresh one, you’ll reduce the chances of waking up with a pimple on your face.
